Practice Manager
A dental practice is primarily a caring establishment, although to succeed in this we need to be safe and efficient. As practice manager, Lynda leads our team in the provision of all round dental support.
She qualified as a dental nurse in 1993, working with some amazing clinicians and gaining a great deal of dental knowledge over the years. In 2004, Lynda made the decision to move into practice management.
An opportunity to work in Dubai for a year added commercial knowledge. When Lynda returned to London, she took up the post of practice manager at the Eastman ICED Dental Clinic, where she had finished her nursing career.
This led to working within mergers & acquisitions for the dental group that owned the Eastman ICED. Lynda has also served as practice manager, business manager at multiple locations over the years.
In October 2021, Dr Kamali asked Lynda to work at Elgin, where her passion for dentistry and helping patients smile would be a natural fit. She is excited to be able to offer her experience at a practice where she is an ideal team member.
Lynda helps to set the practice strategy, along with directing other staff, encouraging self reliance and the development of skills. She is responsible for the practice accounts and related IT systems, along with ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Her work with patients is equally valuable, from assisting with treatment, or membership plans, to helping with their treatment journey. Lynda believes that dental support should fit a patient’s life, rather than the patient fitting round ours.
Whether mentoring new team members, or caring for patients, Lynda’s commitment to strive for the best at all times adds to our practice ethos.
