As you may have seen, we will be closed from 5:30pm Thursday 23rd December 2021 until 8:30am Tuesday 4th January 2022.
From talking to our patients, they see this as rational and an opportunity for our team to take a break, to come back fresher than ever. The first week we return will also be a little different.
Major refurbishment work has been arranged at the practice, which will include a brand new hygienist’s room. A facility we all look forward to, although this means appointments will not be back to normal until Monday 10th January.
Between the 4th and 7th of January, we will be at the practice, to arrange future appointments and to carry out any emergency dental work you may need.
Maintaining Constant Care
If you have an emergency over the holiday, you can call one of our experienced dentists on 07534 818804. During the holiday period, they will only be able to offer advice, although this can be valuable.
We wish to offer our patients support at all times, along with the best facilities. The refurbishment is part of this, together with the updating of equipment and skills which has continued during the last couple of years.
Not the easiest of times, especially for our patients but Elgin’s decision to remain open throughout the pandemic has been validated.
Long Term Oral Health
Our practice is founded on preventative care and a constant eye on the future. We recognised at an early stage that the Covid-19 pandemic should not be allowed to interrupt this ethos, or the damage would be amplified.
To the best of our knowledge, the strict procedures we adopted from day one have kept our practice and the patients attending from being infected by Covid. A stance we will continue into 2022 and beyond, if needed.
The new variant emerging at the end of 2021 is not good news but by continuing to support each other, we will come through. Please enjoy the holiday as much as you can, with what we have achieved to date, we should all remain positive.
